Job summary

Responsibilities

Job description

This is a hands-on Senior Software Engineer (Full Stack) role building the future of how Australians invest. You'll build and evolve the customer-facing products that help people move money, invest, and genuinely understand how their investments are performing. What you build is experienced every day by our customers and the quality of your work is directly visible to customers.

You will solve problems across a broad product suite including money movement, investing, automated and AI-native investment journeys, private assets, portfolio tools, reporting, and multiple account types.

You will work closely with product, design, engineers and the wider Product Engineering function. You will solve meaningful problems across Vue, Rust, Node.js, GraphQL and a range of modern data stores, while sharing context, contributing to cross-cutting engineering decisions and helping improve the quality, reliability and scalability of the products you build and maintain.

Role Responsibilities

• A proactive approach to AI-enabled software development, with a willingness to experiment with and adopt tools and practices that improve engineering productivity and outcomes.

Nice-to-haves

• Production experience with technologies relevant to our environment, such as Vue, Rust, Node.js, GraphQL and modern database or data-store technologies.
• Experience building products within investing, wealth management, payments, brokerage or another regulated financial-services environment, particularly across transaction, portfolio or reporting journeys.
