Job summary

Linktree is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Linkapps squad, building integrations that connect creators' digital worlds to Linktree. You’ll work end-to-end across the stack, shipping services and APIs behind those integrations that creators actually use.

You’ll own third-party integrations, design robust interfaces, and collaborate with product, design and partnerships to deliver valuable creator experiences. Remote-friendly with a strong engineering culture across time zones.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience shipping production full-stack features.
• Solid full-stack skills across TypeScript, Node.js, React, PostgreSQL or MySQL, GraphQL, AWS.
• Meaningful experience integrating third-party APIs and SDKs with auth, rate limits, versioning and outages.
• Comfortable working in a large, established codebase and knowing what is safe to change.
• Experience designing services and APIs within cloud-based, service-oriented architectures.
• Fluency with AI-assisted development and prompt/validate/iterate workflows.
• Strong async-first communication with product, design, partnerships and stakeholders.
• Based in Australia (Melbourne, Sydney or remote) preferred

Responsibilities

• Design, build and ship full-stack features across the Linkapps surface, from partner-facing services to the creator-facing UI.
• Own third-party integrations end-to-end: evaluate APIs/SDKs, design, ship and maintain in production.
• Ship inside our Link Apps system and optimize it to reduce future integration costs.
• Design and maintain services, APIs and cloud infrastructure with attention to auth, rate limits, versioning, degradation.
• Collaborate with product, design and partnerships on feasibility and creator value.
• Instrument deployments and base decisions on data to fix or enhance features.
• Bring AI into how you build and where it adds value in the integrations themselves.
• Contribute to a strong engineering culture in a distributed squad with clear writing and code quality.
