Job summary

Linktree is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to join the Linkapps squad, building integrations that bring creators’ digital worlds into Linktree. You’ll own end-to-end integrations, ship full-stack features, and design APIs and cloud services behind creator surfaces.

You’ll work across TypeScript/Node/React stack, evaluating partner APIs, and collaborating with product and partnerships. Remote-friendly team with global reach and a strong engineering culture.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience shipping production full-stack features.
• Solid full-stack skills across our core stack (TypeScript, Node.js, React, PostgreSQL or MySQL, GraphQL, AWS).
• Meaningful experience integrating third-party APIs and SDKs, including auth, rate limits, versioning and outages.
• Comfortable working in a large, established codebase you did not write, with the judgment to know what is safe to change.
• Experience designing services and APIs within cloud-based, service-oriented architectures.
• Fluency with AI-assisted development and prompts, iteration and validation of AI outputs.
• Comfortable with ambiguity and turning loosely defined opportunities into shipped features.
• A high standard for craft and attention to details like empty states, error messages and loading flicker.
• A clear, async-first communicator across product, design, partnerships and stakeholders.
• Based in Australia (Melbourne, Sydney or remote) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and ship full-stack features across the Linkapps surface, from partner-facing services to creator-facing UI.
• Own third-party integrations end-to-end: evaluate API/SDK, design, ship, and maintain in production.
• Ship inside the composable Link Apps system and improve it to reduce integration costs over time.
• Design and maintain services, APIs and cloud infrastructure with attention to auth, rate limits, versioning and graceful degradation.
• Partner with product, design and partnerships to define feasibility and creator value.
• Instrument deployments and use data to decide what to fix, cut or scale.
• Bring AI into how you build and where it adds value in integrations.
• Contribute to a strong engineering culture in a distributed team.
