Job summary

Linktree is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join Grow – Insights, the team turning the signal from 70+ million Linktree profiles into actionable insights for creators. You’ll own full-stack work across instrumentation, ingestion, aggregation, GraphQL APIs, and the surfaces that let creators act on data.

You’ll collaborate with product, design and data across TypeScript, React, Node and AWS, helping shape what we measure while delivering reliable analytics experiences for a global creator

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience on product/analytics/data-facing teams.
• Solid full-stack skills across TypeScript, Node.js, React, GraphQL, PostgreSQL or MySQL and AWS.
• Comfortable with data: SQL, data modelling, event schemas, and warehouses such as Snowflake or BigQuery.
• Experience designing and integrating APIs and third-party services, ideally including social or platform APIs.
• Fluency with AI-assisted development (Claude, Cursor, Codex and similar).
• Product instinct for what is worth measuring, and ability to interpret data to inform decisions.
• Clear communicator across Melbourne, Sydney and other time zones.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship analytics surfaces from Insights to the AI-powered chat.
• Own end-to-end metric path: instrumentation, ingestion, aggregation, GraphQL API, UI.
• Extend social platform integrations (YouTube, TikTok, Instagram).
• Partner with product/design/data to decide what to measure and plan technically.
• Ensure data trust: attribution, quality, entitlements, checks.
• Incorporate AI into the build and product to help users understand numbers.
• Improve reliability, performance and observability, and mentor peers.
