Job summary

Linktree Pty is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join Grow – Insights, turning data from 70+ million profiles into actionable analytics and AI-powered insights for creators. You’ll own from instrumentation to GraphQL API and UI, partnering with product, design and data to decide what to measure and how to present it.

You’ll work across TypeScript, Node.js, React and AWS, shipping end‑to‑end features, improving data quality, and mentoring peers as the team expands globally.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience on product/analytics teams.
• Strong full-stack skills across TypeScript, Node.js, React, GraphQL, PostgreSQL/MySQL, AWS.
• Comfort with SQL, data modelling, event schemas and warehouses like Snowflake or BigQuery.
• Experience designing APIs and third‑party integrations.
• Fluency with AI‑assisted development and prompting.
• Product instinct for what to measure and making data‑driven decisions.
• Clear communicator across Melbourne, Sydney and other time zones.

Responsibilities

• Build analytics surfaces from Insights page to AI‑powered insights chat.
• Own end‑to‑end metric path: instrumentation, ingestion, aggregation, GraphQL API, UI.
• Extend social platform integrations (YouTube, TikTok, Instagram).
• Collaborate with product/design/data to prioritise measurements and plan features.
• Ensure data trust: attribution, data quality, entitlements, checks.
• Bring AI into the build and product to help creators understand numbers.
• Improve reliability, performance and observability; mentor peers as the team grows.
