Job summary

Linktree is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Linkapps squad, building integrations that connect creators with their digital world. You will ship across the full stack and own external APIs, SDKs and partner integrations, while improving the composable Link Apps system for faster, scalable deployments.

Based in Australia, you will collaborate with product, design and partnerships to deliver value.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering shipping production full-stack features.
• Strong full-stack skills across TypeScript, Node.js, React, PostgreSQL or MySQL, GraphQL, AWS.
• Experience integrating third-party APIs and SDKs in production.
• Ability to work in a large, established codebase and decide what is safe to change.
• Experience designing services and APIs within cloud-based architectures.
• Fluency with AI-assisted development and related tooling.
• Ability to turn loosely defined opportunities into shipped features.
• High craft standards and attention to UI details.
• Clear async communication with product, design, partnerships and stakeholders.
• Based in Australia (Melbourne, Sydney or remote) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and ship full-stack features across the Linkapps surface.
• Own third-party integrations end-to-end: evaluate, design, ship and maintain.
• Ship inside the composable Link Apps system and improve it at the edges.
• Design and maintain services, APIs and cloud infrastructure with focus on auth, rate limits, versioning and graceful degradation.
• Collaborate with product, design and partnerships to validate technical feasibility.
• Instrument what you ship and use data to guide fixes and improvements.
• Bring AI into how you build and where it adds value in integrations.
• Contribute to a strong engineering culture in a distributed squad.
