Job summary

Linktree is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to own the authentication and identity surfaces used by 70+ million users. You’ll work across login, signup, sessions, tokens, and AWS-backed services, partnering with product, security, and platform teams.

This role is hybrid with Melbourne or Sydney offices, and offers remote flexibility. You’ll be hands-on with TypeScript, Node.js, React, GraphQL, and databases, driving secure, scalable auth and enabling a frictionless user experience for

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Solid full‑stack skills across TS, Node.js, React, GraphQL, PostgreSQL or MySQL and AWS.
• Working knowledge of authentication and identity fundamentals: OAuth 2.0, OIDC, JWTs, session management, MFA.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship authentication and identity experiences for signup, login, social auth, account recovery and multi‑factor.
• Own end‑to‑end services behind them — session and token lifecycle, revocation, rate limiting, and APIs.
• Partner with Security to harden the auth surface and with Product to balance friction and conversions.
