Job summary

Pearson Carter Limited is seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Developer – FinTech for a hybrid role on the Gold Coast, QLD. You will design, develop and optimise scalable financial platforms, joining a collaborative engineering team focused on secure, high-performance applications.

You will own the full development lifecycle from design through deployment, partnering with product managers, designers and engineers to deliver value fast.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial software development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with C# and modern .NET technologies.
• Experience building front-end applications using React and TypeScript.
• Solid knowledge of REST APIs, microservices and system integrations.
• Experience working with SQL Server and database optimisation.
• Familiarity with Azure cloud services and CI/CD pipelines.
• A strong understanding of software design principles, testing and clean code practices.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within an agile team.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain scalable web applications using C# and .NET.
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs to support internal systems and third-party financial services.
• Develop responsive front-end interfaces using React and TypeScript.
• Design and optimise relational databases using Microsoft SQL Server.
• Collaborate with product and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Contribute to code reviews, automated testing and continuous integration pipelines.
• Identify performance bottlenecks and implement improvements across existing applications.
• Participate in architectural discussions and help establish development best practices.
