Job summary

Plenti, a fintech lender, is hiring a Senior FP&A Analyst in Australia. You will own financial models, drive budgeting/forecasting, and partner with executives to turn data into commercial insights.

The role offers high visibility to the CFO, CEO, and Board, with opportunities to shape financial strategy and investor communications. You will build dashboards in Databricks and Excel, and support capital planning and automation initiatives.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in FP&A, commercial finance or similar role
• Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or STEM
• CA, CPA or CFA completed or in progress
• Advanced Excel modelling to build and maintain scalable models
• Advanced SQL capability with BI tooling (Databricks preferred)
• Experience applying AI tools (e.g., Claude) to analyse data and improve reporting
• Experience in financial services or lending environment
• Strong presentation skills and stakeholder partnering

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain key financial models, including Plenti’s corporate model
• Partner with budget owners to understand performance and forecast spend
• Lead annual budget and reforecast cycles, including operating expense model
• Own monthly performance reviews, analyze variances and trends
• Prepare Board and Executive reporting with clear insights
• Support investor relations activities and CFO/CEO engagements
• Build dashboards and reporting in Databricks and Excel
• Support capital planning and cash flow forecasting with Controllership and Treasury
• Identify automation opportunities to improve reporting and processes
