Sharp & Carter is partnering with a well established national business to appoint a Senior Operations Manager to lead one of its key operations in Brisbane's south. This fast paced FMCG distribution site demands hands-on leadership to ensure safety, service and culture on the floor.

You will coach frontline leaders, drive cost efficiency, manage industrial relations and maintain strong customer partnerships to deliver on-time, in-full results while sustaining a high-performing team.

Formación

• Senior operations leadership experience in FMCG, retail, distribution or logistics.
• Proven track record of leading large frontline teams.
• Experience leading through other leaders and building team capability.
• Strong commercial awareness and understanding of cost drivers.
• Experience working within enterprise agreements and managing industrial relations.
• Confident managing demanding customers and senior stakeholders.
• Hands-on, energetic style and comfort in a busy operational environment.
• Flexibility to work a shared weekend roster as part of the senior team.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the site's daily operations to deliver safely, on time and in full.
• Coach and develop frontline leaders, supervisors and support staff.
• Build an engaged, high performing team culture across a diverse workforce.
• Manage key customer relationships through regular face-to-face contact.
• Drive safety leadership and a strong compliance culture.
• Monitor cost, productivity and service performance; act on the numbers.
• Manage workforce planning, rostering and labour efficiency at scale.
• Work with employee reps and manage industrial relations matters.
• Partner with internal stakeholders and contractors to deliver results.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and wider business growth.
