National Workforce Pty Ltd, in partnership with a Global leader, is seeking a strategic production leader for a Sydney-based site. You will oversee production operations, drive safety, quality, and cost targets, and support teams to meet performance objectives.

The role focuses on continuous improvement, leadership of cross-shift teams, and ensuring compliance with OHS&E standards and legal requirements in a busy FMCG environment.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years' experience managing and overseeing production within a busy FMCG environment.
• Leadership, influencing, negotiation, change management, conflict resolution and computer literacy skills.
• Experience at a management or delivering continuous improvement projects in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Experience managing budgets/p&l's.
• Understanding OHS&E standards and legal requirements and responsibilities.
• Demonstrated ability to develop, build and maintain effective working relationships, both internally and externally of the organisation.
• Solid experience working as part of a customer focussed organisation, with a strong emphasis on both internal and external customer service.
• Experience coaching, leading, managing and mentoring effective teams, allocating resources effectively and ensuring a motivated and customer focussed team.

Responsabilités

• Implement continuous improvement frameworks to identify and ensure production teams meet performance objectives while building capacity for future growth.
• Plan and coordinate all equipment with short and longer term schedules to optimise labour utilisation and maximise onsite throughput.
• Provide leadership, direction, and support to the operations team to deliver business objectives.
• Foster a positive workplace culture with employee involvement, accountability, and mutual respect.
• Assume full responsibility for site operations in the absence of the Site Manager.
• Lead production across all shifts ensuring consistent standards of performance, safety, and engagement.
• Direct and monitor adherence to all legal, statutory, and OHS&E policies, systems, and practices.
