Job summary

City of Canterbury Bankstown seeks a Senior Manager to lead Fleet Unit operations, asset management and continuous improvement within a multi-depot environment. You will drive strategic planning, budgeting and service delivery to ensure safe, sustainable and compliant fleet services aligned with council priorities.

You will work with executives to shape fleet strategies, develop capital programs, and manage performance with a focus on efficiency, environmental options and stakeholder

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications and/or minimum 10 years equivalent experience in Fleet Management.
• Completion of the IPWEA Fleet Management Certificate.
• Proven leadership and management of multi-disciplinary fleet teams across lifecycle.
• Strong capability in people leadership, performance management and stakeholder engagement.
• Experience in change management, continuous improvement, digital and service transformation.
• Experience using fleet management systems to plan and manage service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and delivery of the 10-year rolling fleet capital works program and fleet management systems.
• Ensure scheduled servicing and maintenance regimes are delivered on time and within budget.
• Engage with stakeholders to align fleet services with organisational strategies and service levels.
• Drive innovation, agility and continuous improvement for efficient, customer-focused services.
• Promote values and culture through leadership and professional conduct.
• Ensure HVNL and CoR obligations are met across three depots.
