Job summary
Stantec is seeking a Senior Fire Protection Engineer to join our Perth-based Fire Services team on a full-time basis. You will lead design and delivery of fire protection systems across diverse projects, mentor junior engineers, and engage clients to ensure compliant, safe outcomes.
Ideal candidates hold a degree and are NER listed, with NCC knowledge and strong communication. You will plan, manage, and oversee projects from concept to commissioning, working autonomously and within a team across
Qualifications
- Engineering degree required and NER listed.
- Strong knowledge of NCC and relevant Australian Standards.
- Experience in planning and managing complex projects.
Responsibilities
- Plan and manage projects from concept to commissioning.
- Provide oversight and supervision to ensure delivery.
- Design Fire Protection Services (sprinklers, hydrants, hose reels, detection, fire suppression).
- Represent Stantec to clients and manage relationships.
- Prepare presentations for external clients.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to their growth.
- Contribute to in-house design discussions and meetings.
