Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Senior Fire Protection Engineer to join our Fire Services team in Australia. You will take ownership of design and project delivery for diverse systems across sectors, working both independently and with a team to meet project milestones.

The role emphasises technical leadership, client engagement, and staying current with NCC and Australian Standards. You will mentor junior engineers and contribute to business growth within a collaborative consultancy culture.

Qualifications

• Experience in design consultancy environments.
• Knowledge of NCC and relevant Australian Standards.
• Ability to review FEB/FER and liaise with Fire Safety Engineers.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage projects from concept to commissioning.
• Provide technical oversight to ensure successful delivery.
• Represent Stantec to clients and manage relationships.
• Prepare and present client-facing material.
• Delegate tasks to junior engineers and contribute to their development.
• Engage in design discussions and attend project meetings.
