Stantec is seeking a Fire Safety Engineer to join the Perth Buildings team. This full-time role blends technical excellence with business development and client engagement in a busy Perth-based setting.

You will lead projects across health, defence, high-rise, industrial and education sectors, delivering FEBs, FERs, and fire modelling while mentoring junior engineers and growing client relationships.

Qualifications

• Professional Engineer with pathway to Chartered status.
• Proven design consultancy experience with client engagement.
• Ability to manage multiple projects at varying stages.

Responsibilities

• Prepare drawings and calculations to support design concepts and code compliance.
• Deliver designs, reports, and specifications across sectors.
• Develop FEB/FEBQ and FER, with fire modelling and evacuation simulations.
• Liaise with authorities, clients and teams; attend project meetings.
• Mentor junior engineers and drive business development.
