Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Fire Protection Technical Lead to join our Building Services team in Australia. You will lead fire protection design and project delivery across diverse sectors, providing technical oversight while developing client relationships.

The role requires a minimum of 10 years in fire protection consulting, a relevant degree, and Chartered status. You will work with multidisciplinary teams, contribute to national strategy, and ensure high-quality outcomes on complex health,

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years’ Fire Protection consulting experience.
• Degree qualified and chartered (CPEng) with FPAS or referenced projects.
• Hold RPEQ registration or eligible to register in Australia.
• Strong knowledge of NCC and Australian Standards.
• Experience in Fire Engineered Performance Solutions is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage projects from concept through to delivery and commissioning.
• Provide technical oversight and supervision for project success.
• Represent Stantec with clients and manage key relationships.
• Prepare drawings and calculations in support of design concepts.
• Liaise with architects, contractors, and authorities to ensure cost-effective outcomes.
