Job summary

Aurecon is seeking a Senior Fire Protection Engineer to join Buildings Services in Australia. You will design active fire protection systems including sprinklers, hydrants, alarms, and related infrastructure, while coordinating with the digital team and other disciplines on project models.

With 5+ years of experience, you will lead design development, provide technical documentation, and support project delivery from concept to completion, ensuring compliance with NCC and local standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in engineering discipline or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in fire protection engineering consultancy, contracting or related industries.
• Strong knowledge of NCC and Australian fire protection standards.

Responsibilities

• Comply with all role specific SHEQ obligations.
• Develop safety in design across projects.
• Prepare technical reports on small to medium projects.
• Project Lead small projects within discipline.
• Develop proposals and support winning bids.
• Apply legislation, standards and project specifications.
