Job summary

East Partnership in Sydney is seeking a Senior Financial Accountant to manage critical financial reporting, governance and compliance, and to ensure the accuracy of the general ledger and balance sheet.

You will own key month-end activities including journals, accruals and reconciliations, support monthly management reporting, year-end financial statements and external audits; exposure to GST, FBT and payroll tax; and drive process improvements, systems enhancements and stronger financial

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of accounting experience.
• Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• CA/CPA qualification or progress toward qualification preferred.
• Strong technical accounting capability and advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Own month-end activities including journals, accruals and reconciliations.
• Support monthly management reporting, year-end financial statements and external audits.
• Maintain accuracy and integrity of general ledger and balance sheet.
• Exposure to GST, FBT and payroll tax compliance.
