Perigon Group is seeking a Senior Financial Accountant in North Brisbane to own month-end and balance sheet reporting, providing accurate financial information and strong internal controls.

You will mentor junior staff, liaise with auditors, and drive process improvements across BAS, GST and payroll tax.

Qualifications

• CA or CPA qualification or nearing completion.
• Strong technical accounting skills across month-end and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Experience with BAS, GST, FBT and payroll tax is advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Manage month-end and year-end reporting, including journals, accruals, reconciliations and analysis.
• Prepare and review financial statements and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with Australian accounting standards and statutory obligations.
• Assist with external audits and supporting documentation.
• Provide technical accounting guidance to junior finance staff.
• Identify improvements to reporting processes, systems and controls.
• Collaborate with finance and operations to ensure timely financial information.
