Job summary

Pilbara Ports Authority, based in Perth, is seeking a Senior Finance Officer Receivable to manage the accounts receivable function and provide essential finance team support. This role sits within the Finance Team and offers a structured, supportive environment.

The successful candidate will apply fundamental accounting principles, GST handling, and strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with stakeholders and ensure accurate invoicing, timely payments, and compliant processes.

• Experience with basic accounting principles.
• Understanding of GST treatment and accounts receivable practices, processes and systems.

Responsibilities

• Deliver efficient and effective accounts receivable function for Pilbara Ports.
• Provide general administrative support to the Finance team.

This is a great opportunity to be part of the world’s largest bulk export port authority, encompassing the operating ports of Ashburton, Dampier, Port Hedland and Varanus Island, and five future port sites. You will be responsible for providing efficient and effective delivery of the Pilbara Ports accounts receivable function. The position also provides general administrative support to the Finance team.
