Job summary

Bendigo Bank is seeking a Senior Finance Manager to lead the Risk Rectification Plan as part of a 12‑month maximum-term contract. The role sits in Group Finance | FP&A and will partner with sponsors, executives and the CFO to deliver financial rigour and governance.

Based in a hybrid setup with 2 days per week at the corporate office, the successful candidate will own financial modelling, investment governance and executive-level challenge across a critical enterprise programme.

Qualifications

10+ years in commercial finance or related fields.
Qualified CA/CPA with finance degree.
Advanced modelling, scenario planning and forecasting in Excel.
Ability to translate data into strategic presentations for senior leaders.
Immediate or near-immediate start readiness.

Responsibilities

Provide strategic commercial advisory and governance for the risk rectification programme.
Own master financial models and cost/benefit tracking frameworks.
Monitor expenditures, resources, vendor spend and run-rates.
Challenge business cases and investment decisions with senior stakeholders.
Align FP&A cycles with programme outcomes and budgets.
Embed long‑term governance across the investment slate.
