Job summary

Rhima Australia is seeking a Senior Service Technician to be the lead field technician and technical specialist, delivering high-quality servicing, preventative maintenance, repairs, commissioning and technical support across Rhima's equipment range. The majority of the role is field-based, servicing customer equipment and supporting the wider service team.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification in Electrical, Mechanical or related discipline.
• Extensive field service and fault-finding experience.
• Strong technical diagnostic skills.
• Proven ability to mentor and support other technicians.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage service priorities.
• Commissioning experience (desirable).
• Validation experience in healthcare or regulated environments (desirable).
• Knowledge of commercial warewashing, healthcare decontamination or industrial washing systems (desirable).
• Experience supporting technician training and development (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Perform breakdown repairs, preventative maintenance and scheduled servicing.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical and operational faults.
• Install, commission and test new equipment.
• Provide professional on-site customer support and technical advice.
• Complete service reports and documentation accurately and on time.
• Ensure customer equipment is operating safely and effectively.
• Act as the lead technical resource within the service department.
• Provide technical guidance and support to Service & Validation Technicians.
• Assist with onboarding and training new technicians.
• Act as the primary escalation point for difficult service calls.
