Job summary

IGT is seeking an experienced Field Service Technician to provide on-site support, maintenance, and troubleshooting for gaming and kiosk equipment across an assigned region. The role involves regular customer interaction and collaboration with other technicians to maintain reliable equipment performance.

Key responsibilities include diagnosing issues, performing preventive maintenance, and serving as the primary technical contact for inquiries.

Qualifications

5-8 years of technician experience in a customer-facing role.
High school diploma or GED; vocational/technical education preferred.
Working knowledge of hardware, software, gaming or kiosk platforms, and networking.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Ability to obtain and maintain required jurisdictional licenses.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and resolve mechanical, hardware, software, and networking issues; provide root cause analysis.
Install, inspect, and perform preventive maintenance on equipment at customer locations.
Serve as the primary technical contact for service-related customer inquiries.
Conduct site surveys and maintain accurate records of parts, inventory, service activities, and required documentation.
Coordinate daily service objectives and support other Field Service Technicians as needed.
