Job summary

IGT (International Game Technology) – Sydney metro seeks a dedicated Field Service Technician to join our NSW team. You will service and repair Cash Redemption Terminal machines, install equipment, and perform preventive maintenance at client sites across Sydney metro.

You'll troubleshoot advanced hardware and software issues, work with external contractors, and ensure safety and quality standards while delivering timely support to customers in the region.

Qualifications

• A valid Driver's Licence is required due to on-site client work.
• At least 3 years of field service experience with technical queries from the field.
• Willingness to travel locally, regionally and sometimes interstate.
• Strong understanding of electro-mechanical systems and computing environments.
• Professional presentation and communication skills.
• Experience with hand and power tools or similar equipment.
• Adherence to Work Health and Safety standards and guidelines.
• ATM or gaming industry experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Performs advanced troubleshooting to identify, resolve, and provide root cause analysis on equipment.
• Diagnoses mechanical, hardware, software, and systems failures using established procedures.
• Performs preventive maintenance on equipment as directed by management.
• Performs site surveys on all new orders.
• Maintains accurate inventory and accounting of all parts used at customer locations.
• Responsible for completing all required reporting and paperwork in a timely manner.
• Actively supports other Field Service Technicians as needed.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

IGT (International Game Technology) – Erskine Park NSW

Our Australia HQ is in Sydney, but we have a team of Field Services Technicians based in NSW, VIC, QLD and SA for our customers. Currently, we are on the lookout for a dedicated and committed Field Service Technician to join our close-knit team in Sydney metro. In this role, you will work with a team of other Field Service Technicians and external contractors to triage service requests. These range from product installation, service maintenance and ensuring optimal performance of our Cash Redemption Terminal (CRT) machines. It fits someone with a passion for fixing and repairing machinery - getting to the root cause, solving the problem and making it right.

About the role

Provides timely technical support to customers on operational and maintenance aspects of system equipment for assigned region. Serves as customer contact on technical and service-related issues. Determines and defines daily objectives for site specific product installations, maintenance, and customer support.

About you

• A valid Driver's Licence is an inherent requirement of the role as work is performed onsite at client's premises
• Willingness to obtain necessary licence as required (the company will assist with application)
• At least 3 years field service experience including the handling of technical queries from the field
• Available to travel local (metropolitan Sydney), regional and sometimes interstate
• Good understanding of electro-mechanical systems and computing environments
• Professional presentation - appearance and communication skills
• Experience with hand and power tools, or experience in a similar role
• Ability to follow Work Health and Safety standards, protocols and guidelines
• Previous ATM or gaming industry experience is an advantage
