Job summary

Coombes Property Group is seeking a Senior Facilities Manager to actively manage the maintenance and operation of a Sydney-based property. You will work with the property management and maintenance teams to ensure assets are presented and operated to the highest standard.

The role requires a commercially minded professional with a strong focus on safety, WHS, and cost control, capable of leading onsite staff and coordinating tenancy-related works.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of industry experience in a similar facilities role.
• Strong understanding of building services, safety, and compliance requirements.
• Proven ability to manage contractors, schedules, and quality control.
• Detail-oriented with solid administrative and spreadsheet skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage, maintain and operate building services for Sydney properties.
• Oversee assets to ensure cost-efficiency and compliance with statutory requirements.
• Lead onsite team, ensuring engagement, training and performance.
• Execute daily, weekly and monthly facilities duties and inspections.
• Prepare reports, budgets, and reporting materials for management.
• Coordinate tenancy works, fit-outs and common area upgrades with project teams.
• Liaise with clients, tenants, consultants and management; supervise contractors and WHS compliance.
