Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield in Canberra is seeking a Senior Facilities Manager to lead a portfolio of client properties and a team of three Facilities Managers and one Coordinator. You will oversee maintenance, budgets, compliance and reporting, while coordinating with stakeholders and service partners to deliver high-quality service.

Location can be Canberra with Sydney as a secondary preference; Australian Citizenship and security clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years' experience in Facilities Management.
• Experience managing commercial, corporate, government, or mixed property portfolios.
• Experience leading facilities management teams.
• Strong understanding of hard FM services, building services, maintenance, and asset management.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and client relationship skills.
• Commercial acumen with budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting experience.
• Proven ability to achieve KPIs and service delivery outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Facilities Operations: Manage a portfolio of client properties and ensure effective day-to-day facilities management delivery.
• Oversee reactive and planned maintenance programs, contractor performance, and service quality.
• Act as the primary escalation point for critical incidents and after-hours operational issues.
• Coordinate recovery plans and engage specialist contractors when required.
