Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Senior Facilities Manager for our Sydney CBD asset. You will lead all facilities operations, building services, and contractor management to optimise performance and occupier experience.

You will drive CAPEX projects, manage budgets, and champion sustainability and risk management across the asset. A tertiary FM or engineering qualification is desirable.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Senior Facilities Manager or Building Manager.
• Strong knowledge of commercial property operations and building services.
• Experience delivering CAPEX projects and managing contractors.
• Budgeting, financial reporting and stakeholder communication skills.

With the development phase complete, this is a unique opportunity to influence operations, optimise performance and elevate occupier experience. As Senior Facilities Manager, you'll be responsible for leading all aspects of facilities operations, building services, contractor management, compliance, maintenance and asset performance. You'll also play a key role in planning and delivering CAPEX projects and capital works initiatives, helping drive the next stage of the asset's evolution.

The Opportunity:

• Lead facilities management and day-to-day building operations
• Oversee technical services, compliance and risk management
• Manage contractors, service partners and maintenance programs
• Deliver CAPEX, asset enhancement and capital works projects
• Manage operational budgets (OPEX) and financial performance
• Drive sustainability, ESG and continuous improvement initiatives
• Partner with stakeholders to optimise occupier experience and asset performance

About You:

• Proven experience as a Senior Facilities Manager, Facilities Manager or Building Manager
• Strong knowledge of commercial property operations, building services and compliance
• Experience delivering CAPEX projects and managing contractors
• Strong knowledge of technical services, compliance and risk management
• Demonstrated success managing contractors and service partners
• Budget management and financial reporting capability
• Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills
• Tertiary qualification in Facilities Management, Engineering, Building Services or similar (desirable)
