Job summary

CBRE manages a dual-asset portfolio in Perth, including two commercial assets and a retail portfolio. Based in the Perth CBD, this Facilities Manager role involves owning contractor performance, maintenance delivery and day-to-day operations across assets while ensuring safe, compliant environments.

You’ll lead risk, compliance and HSE programs, supervise service providers, and collaborate with the property team and stakeholders to keep assets performing at their best.

Qualifications

• Experience in Facilities Management, property operations or building services.
• Ability to manage contractors and service providers to KPIs and standards.
• Understanding of compliance, WHS and legislative requirements in property environments.

CBRE manages this portfolio on behalf of IFM Investors, and we're looking for a Facilities Manager who understands how buildings operate and takes pride in keeping them performing at their best.

Based from our Perth CBD office, you'll oversee facilities operations across two commercial assets and a retail portfolio throughout Perth's northern suburbs. Supported by an experienced property team, you'll take ownership of contractor performance, maintenance delivery, compliance and day-to-day building operations across a genuinely varied group of assets.

This is a role for someone who enjoys being close to the assets, working with contractors, understanding how plant and essential services operate, and building strong relationships with stakeholders who rely on safe, compliant and well-maintained environments.

Perfect for someone who values variety, enjoys rolling up their sleeves operationally, and wants exposure across both commercial and retail property within a premium institutional portfolio.

In this role, you will:

• Lead risk, compliance and HSE programs across the portfolio, including audits, contractor compliance, emergency planning and incident management
• Manage contractors and service providers delivering maintenance, repairs and essential building services
• Monitor asset performance, preventative maintenance programs and statutory compliance obligations
• Oversee operating budgets, forecasting and expenditure while coordinating minor works and asset improvement projects
• Build strong working relationships with IFM Investors, tenants, retailers, contractors and local stakeholders
• Partner closely with the broader property team to deliver safe, compliant and well-performing assets

About You

You're someone who understands facilities operations and what it takes to keep commercial buildings and retail environments running smoothly.

You know your way around building services, planned maintenance, contractor management and compliance requirements. You're comfortable on site, enjoy solving operational issues and can build credibility with both contractors and stakeholders.

Most importantly, you're someone who takes ownership, follows through and genuinely enjoys seeing assets perform well.

• Experience in Facilities Management, property operations, building services or a comparable environment
• Working knowledge of commercial building systems, plant and maintenance programs
• Experience managing contractors and service providers to agreed standards and KPIs
• Understanding of compliance, WHS and legislative requirements within a property environment
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities across multiple assets
• Current driver's licence and willingness to travel across portfolio sites
