  • Sydney CBD | Land of the Gadigal People

A newly acquired commercial precinct needs a someone who can set the standard from the start. CBRE is looking for a Precinct Manager to lead the transition, stabilisation and long-term performance of a premium Sydney CBD portfolio on behalf of Charter Hall.

You’ll own the whole precinct picture across six premium commercial assets: the client relationship, the team, the buildings and the operational standard. With a strata component adding another layer of stakeholder and governance complexity, this is a role that calls for sound judgement, commercial awareness and the confidence to bring people with you.

Leading a team of Facilities Managers responsible for individual building portfolios across six CBD assets, you’ll establish consistent service delivery, build trusted occupier and contractor relationships and make sure the precinct settles into its new management structure without losing momentum.

Perfect for a senior FM or precinct leader who enjoys shaping how a portfolio operates, developing capable people and being accountable for outcomes that are visible to both the client and the occupiers.

In this role, you will

  • Lead the onboarding, transition and operational integration of the newly acquired commercial precinct into Charter Hall and CBRE management platforms

  • Lead, coach and develop Facilities Managers responsible for individual building portfolios, creating clear standards and a collaborative precinct culture

  • Own the senior day-to-day relationship across six commercial assets with Charter Hall, occupiers, strata stakeholders and service partners across the precinct

  • Drive consistency across planned and reactive maintenance, contractor performance, procurement, compliance, WHS and risk management

  • Oversee operating budgets, forecasting, reporting, capital works and precinct-wide initiatives

  • Identify opportunities to improve sustainability, asset performance and occupier experience across the portfolio

About You

You’re an experienced commercial facilities or precinct leader who knows how to run complex buildings, lead people and hold a trusted institutional client relationship.

You can move comfortably between strategy and site operations, bring structure to a changing environment and create accountability without losing collaboration. Most importantly, you set a high standard and know how to help a team deliver it.

  • Proven experience leading facilities operations across premium commercial offices, a precinct or a multi-asset portfolio

  • Demonstrated people leadership, including coaching Facilities Managers and creating clear performance expectations

  • Strong client and stakeholder management skills, with confidence across institutional, occupier, contractor and strata relationships

  • Solid technical FM capability across building services, essential services, compliance, WHS, contractors and capital works

  • Financial and commercial acumen across budgets, forecasting, reporting, procurement and lifecycle planning

  • Sound judgement, clear communication and the ability to lead through transition and operational change

Why CBRE?

  • Shape the future operating model of a newly acquired Sydney CBD commercial precinct

  • Lead a visible Charter Hall portfolio with direct client influence and genuine team accountability

  • Work across institutional-grade commercial assets with a strata component and varied stakeholder needs

  • Build your profile within CBRE's national facilities and property management platform

  • Access employee benefits, wellbeing programs and career development through a global real estate business
