Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a hands-on facilities professional to own operations and maintenance of a designated commercial A-Grade office asset in Sydney.

You’ll be the primary contact for tenants, contractors and internal stakeholders, ensuring services run smoothly while supporting safety, compliance and continuous improvement. Key responsibilities include day-to-day facilities management across building services, energy optimisation, contractor performance monitoring and managing OPEX

Qualifications

  • Facilities mgmt experience focused on commercial office assets.
  • Knowledge of compliance, sustainability, fire services and mechanical services.
  • Contractor management in commercial/industrial buildings.
  • Capex and Opex budgets management.
  • Strong organizational skills across multiple functions and projects.

The Opportunity:

Take ownership of the efficient and cost-effective operation and maintenance of a designated commercial A-Grade office asset on the Dexus portfolio. As the key point of contact for tenants, contractors and internal stakeholders, you will keep building services running effectively while supporting safety, compliance and continuous improvement.

  • Manage day-to-day facilities operations across building services, systems and structures.
  • Build proactive relationships with tenants, contractors and internal stakeholders.
  • Monitor contractor performance, service standards and compliance requirements.
  • Optimise building services, energy use and essential services compliance.
  • Manage OPEX budgets, report variances, coordinate maintenance and minor capital works.
About you

You are a practical, customer-focused facilities professional who can balance operational priorities, stakeholder expectations and compliance requirements.

  • Facilities management experience with a strong focus on commercial office assets.
  • Knowledge of compliance, sustainability, fire services and mechanical services.
  • Contractor management experience in commercial or industrial building environments.
  • Capability managing capital expenditure and operating expenditure budgets.
  • Strong organisation skills, with the ability to manage several functions and projects while maintaining high service standards.
