Job summary

CBRE is seeking an experienced Facilities Coordinator to manage a rural property portfolio across regional NSW, supporting the Inland Rail project. This autonomous role travels regionally and requires coordinating maintenance, compliance and contractor management to maximise asset performance.

You will build strong relationships with tenants, clients and contractors, conduct inspections, and support acquisitions and onboarding activities throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

  • Experience in Facilities Management, Property Management or Building Operations, ideally rural/regional environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships with clients, tenants, contractors and stakeholders.
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills with attention to detail and proactive problem solving.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills with reporting/documentation experience.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate operation, maintenance and compliance of rural/agricultural properties for the Inland Rail project.

Opportunity for an experienced Facilities Coordinator to take ownership of a diverse portfolio of rural properties across regional NSW. Working alongside a broad range of stakeholders, you will coordinate maintenance, compliance and contractor management activities to maximise asset performance and preserve property value.

The Opportunity:
  • Coordinate the operation, maintenance and compliance of a portfolio of rural and agricultural properties supporting the Inland Rail project
  • Build strong relationships with tenants, client stakeholders, contractors and local communities
  • Conduct quarterly property inspections and provide recommendations to improve asset performance and compliance
  • Manage service providers and contractors to ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and to required standards
  • Support property acquisitions, onboarding activities and divestment processes throughout the project lifecycle
About you:
  • Experience in Facilities Management, Property Management or Building Operations, ideally within rural, agricultural or regional property environments

  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines
  • Strong communication skills with excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem solving
