This is a highly trusted and pivotal role requiring exceptional judgement, discretion, organisation and the ability to operate confidently in a complex and fast-paced local government environment.
The Senior Executive Assistant provides high-level confidential executive and secretariat support to the General Manager exercising sound judgement, discretion and initiative to effectively manage priorities and support the General Manager in achieving organisational and community objectives.
This is a pivotal, high-visibility role where you will act as the primary interface between the General Manager’s Office, the Mayor, Councillors, senior executives, government, community, and other key stakeholders.
The role requires the confidence and maturity to operate effectively within a complex local government environment involving a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.
