Job summary

Randwick City Council is seeking an Events Production Supervisor to coordinate the production, operations, logistical and technical aspects of the Council’s annual events calendar. The role works with the Culture and Place team to deliver a diverse range of events on Sydney’s eastern beaches.

You will manage day-to-day production requirements, advise on production and technical elements, develop budgets, manage quotations and contractors, and lead risk assessments and safety plans for all events.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Event Management or related field.
• Experience in risk management, safety and compliance for major events.
• Knowledge of sound, lighting, staging, and site design for events.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate production, operations, logistical and technical aspects of Council’s events.
• Provide expert information on production and technical elements of events.
• Develop project budgets, undertakings quotations and contractor oversight.
• Lead risk management for events, drafting and updating risk assessments and safety plans.
