Job summary

Randwick City Council is seeking an Events Production Supervisor to lead the production, operations, and technical planning for its annual events calendar. The role collaborates with another Event Production Supervisor to ensure seamless event delivery across a range of scales.

The ideal candidate has tertiary qualifications in Event Management or substantial experience in large-scale event production, with strong skills in risk management, safety, and technical event elements such as sound,

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Event Management or relevant field with substantial practical experience in major/community events.
• Experience in Risk Management, Safety and Compliance for major events.
• Comprehensive understanding of technical event elements including sound/lighting, staging, infrastructure, stallholder management, catering and site design.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the production, operations, logistical and technical aspects of Council’s annual calendar of events.
• Provide expert information and advice on production and technical elements of events.
• Develop project budgets, undertake quotations and tenders, and oversee contractor management on events.
• Lead the management of risk on all events, drafting and implementing risk assessments and contingency plans.
