Job summary

Ipswich City Council is seeking a Senior Digital Business Systems Analyst to shape and enhance enterprise platforms across the organisation. You will join the Digital Business Systems team and support iVolve program work spanning Asset Management, Safety, HR and Payroll, providing expert advice and lead system improvements.

You will liaise with stakeholders, map processes, configure configurations, and manage SaaS upgrades with ITIL change control.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in IT, Business, or related field.
• Excellent communication to facilitate meetings with stakeholders and vendors.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to map processes and document outcomes.
• Strong technical knowledge of ERP applications and how to optimise them.
• Ability to run minor projects/enhancements for enterprise applications.

Responsibilities

• Understand requirements with stakeholders, create process maps and user stories for enhancements.
• Liaise with business to advise on system capabilities and limitations.
• Configure and tailor systems, collaborating with developers for complex changes.
• Manage SaaS upgrade projects, coordinate testing, and handle change management end-to-end.
• Develop roadmaps and influence future system enhancements.
• Manage major incidents and complex problems with IT teams and vendors.
