Job summary

Ipswich City Council is seeking a Senior Digital Business Systems Analyst to shape enterprise platforms across the organisation, supporting iVolve program initiatives in Asset Management, Safety, HR and Payroll. You’ll provide expert advice, configure ERP applications, and coordinate upgrades with vendors and IT teams.

The role requires strong communication, mapping skills and experience with ERP modules, with a focus on delivering end-to-end process improvements and roadmap development.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in IT, Business, or another related field.
• Strong knowledge of Finance and SCM modules within an Enterprise ERP.
• Excellent communication skills to facilitate meetings with stakeholders and vendors.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to map processes and document.
• Strong technical knowledge of ERP applications and how they’re best used and optimised.
• Ability to run minor projects/enhancements for Enterprise applications.
• Experience configuring one or more of Confirm, Workday, Aurion or Beakon.
• Experience configuring HR, Asset Management, Payroll and Operational Health and Safety modules desirable.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements, design process flows and user stories for enhancements.
• Provide expert advice on system capabilities, potential and limitations to the business.
• Develop and configure system customisations, partnering with developers on complex changes.
• Coordinate SaaS upgrades, manage testing, communicate with stakeholders, and oversee end-to-end change management.
• Develop roadmaps and contribute to future system enhancements and initiatives.
• Manage major incidents and complex problems with IT teams and vendors as needed.
