Job summary

Randwick City Council is seeking an experienced town planning professional to join the Development Assessment team on a permanent full-time basis. You will negotiate, manage and assess a caseload of diverse applications, including major developments in Kensington and Kingsford town centres, and a wide range of commercial, industrial, open space, housing and subdivision projects.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to negotiate and manage complex planning matters.
• Strong written and verbal communication for reports and stakeholder liaison.
• Experience in assessing diverse planning applications and providing sound recommendations.
• Knowledge of Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979 and related legislation.
• Capacity to deliver high-quality customer service and timely decisions.
