Job summary

The Senior Program Manager, Enterprise Compliance at the Department of Justice and Community Safety provides strategic leadership of the department's enterprise compliance function, ensuring legislative, regulatory and policy obligations are identified, monitored and reported.

You will strengthen enterprise oversight and governance through reporting, assurance and improvement initiatives, while supporting executive leadership to manage compliance risks.

Qualifications

• Strong experience managing complex government programs.
• Understanding Victorian Government rules, systems and ways of working.
• Experience supporting senior leaders with ministerial or department work.
• Leadership and problem-solving skills, with the ability to guide change across teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the department's enterprise compliance oversight, ensuring legal, regulatory and policy obligations are identified, monitored and reported.
• Strengthen enterprise governance and accountability through compliance reporting, assurance and improvement initiatives.
• Support executive leadership to manage compliance risks, emerging obligations and organisational performance.
• Provide clear expert advice to senior leaders and committees to support sound decisions and oversee major projects to improve compliance systems.
