Job summary

CGC Recruitment is seeking a Senior Engineering Surveyor for FIFO/Metro roles in the Perth region, offering 2:1 and 2:2 rosters, and permanent full-time employment.

You will lead surveying across major civil and infrastructure projects, perform set-out and as-built surveys, interpret drawings, mentor junior staff and ensure QA/QC across delivery, while coordinating with Project Managers and engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Surveying, Spatial Sciences, Engineering or related.
• 5+ years in Engineering Surveying on civil/infrastructure/mining projects in WA.
• Experience leading a surveying team.
• Strong QA/QC and stakeholder management.
• Current Australian driver’s license and working rights.

Responsibilities

• Lead surveying activities across major civil and infrastructure projects.
• Carry out construction set-out, as-built surveys, alignment checks and volume calculations.
• Interpret engineering drawings, specifications and technical documentation.
• Operate GPS, total stations, UAVs, and laser scanners.
• Ensure survey data is accurate and delivered to project requirements.
• Provide mentoring to junior surveyors and work with Project Managers.
