Job summary

CommBank is seeking an Senior Engineering Manager to lead engineering across Customer Communication Management and eSigning products, including OpenText Exstream and DocuSign. You’ll provide technical and people leadership, shape the engineering strategy and roadmap, and build high-performing teams responsible for critical customer communications and digital signing capabilities.

• Proven experience leading engineering teams in complex enterprise technology environments.
• Strong knowledge of modern software practices: cloud, APIs, CI/CD, DevSecOps, automation, observability.
• Experience modernising critical enterprise platforms for resilience, security and maintainability.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop engineering teams across CCM and eSigning products.
• Shape and deliver the engineering strategy and technology roadmap.
• Drive modernisation of the technology estate to improve resilience and security.
• Collaborate with Product and Architecture to deliver secure, scalable solutions.
• Strengthen production health and operational resilience through robust practices.
• Build engineering capability through mentoring, recruitment and continuous learning.
