Job summary

Gridcog seeks a Senior Business Development Manager to drive new project developer growth in Australia and New Zealand. You will own the end-to-end sales cycle, from prospecting and qualification through to closing, while collaborating with a global team.

You will build a strong network in the Australian energy ecosystem, articulate Gridcog’s value in project finance and storage solutions, and contribute market insights to shape our growth in a rapidly evolving energy market.

Qualifications

• Proven success in a senior commercial energy role.
• Strong network with Developers and IPPs in Australia.
• Experience in B2B SaaS sales and project development.
• Knowledge of NEM/WEM frameworks and storage.

Responsibilities

• Win new Project Developer accounts in Australia and New Zealand in line with targets.
• Manage and qualify a sales pipeline, targeting key client accounts.
• Demonstrate Gridcog software to clients and lead deal closing.
• Share customer and market insights with the team to inform strategy.
• Maintain CRM records and accurate forecast for leadership.
