Job summary

Borg Manufacturing on the Central Coast, NSW, seeks an Employment Relations Business Partner to lead complex ER/IR matters across our operations. Based at our Head Office, this role influences enterprise-wide outcomes in a fast-paced, multi-site environment.

You will advise leaders, HR teams, and operations managers, negotiate Enterprise Agreements in unionised settings, and integrate acquisitions into the industrial framework while ensuring compliance with awards and policies.

Qualifications

• Proven experience negotiating Enterprise Agreements in unionised settings.
• Strong working knowledge of the Fair Work Act, modern awards, and employment law.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• A pragmatic, commercial mindset with ability to influence and build trust at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead negotiation and implementation of Enterprise Agreements.
• Integrate newly acquired businesses into the organisation’s industrial framework, ensuring alignment with existing agreements and policies.
• Manage Fair Work Commission claims and represent the business in conciliations.
• Provide expert advice on complex employment matters to HR and operational leaders.
• Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with employment laws, awards, and policies.
• Monitor legislative changes and ensure compliance with workplace laws and agreements.
