Jobs In HR is partnering with a large public sector organisation to recruit a Senior HR Advisor - Employee Relations on a 3-month contract in Brisbane. The role provides trusted advice to managers on complex workforce matters, including performance, conduct and investigations, and supports leaders through structured case management.

Qualifications

• Experience in Human Resources, Employee Relations, Industrial Relations or Workplace Relations.
• Experience managing complex employee relations matters including performance, conduct and investigations.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement, consultation and influencing skills.
• Ability to interpret legislation, policies and frameworks and apply them to complex workplace situations.
• Strong written communication with reports, briefings and recommendations.
• Solutions-focused with ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Experience in government or highly regulated environments is highly regarded.
• Experience in a unionised workforce and advising on complex ER matters is highly regarded.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist advice on employee performance, conduct and workplace relations matters.
• Support leaders through complex case management processes, ensuring alignment with policy and legislative requirements.
• Identify trends and insights through workforce data analysis and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Develop resources, tools and guidance materials to build management capability.
• Prepare reports, briefings and recommendations for senior stakeholders.
• Contribute to projects focused on workforce culture, employee experience and organisational improvement.
• Build strong working relationships across the organisation to support positive workplace outcomes.
