Job summary

GH Talent is helping a large Melbourne organisation fill a permanent Employee Relations role. Reporting to the Associate Director Employee Relations, you’ll triage risk, run end-to-end investigations, and translate complex matters into clear recommendations for senior leaders and executives.

This is not transactional casework; you’ll identify risk early, spot patterns, and coach managers to build capability.

Qualifications

• End-to-end ER experience including investigations and casework.
• Ability to translate complex matters into clear recommendations for senior leaders.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct high-quality investigations into complaints, grievances, and performance matters.
• Provide risk mitigation advice and manage escalations to external parties as needed.
• Support enterprise bargaining processes, including planning for protected industrial action and EA implementation.
• Produce clear reports and recommendations for executive audiences.
• Coach and develop managers and teams on ER processes and best practice.
• Contribute to the development and review of ER policies, guidelines, and educational tools.
