Job summary

Albury Wodonga Health is seeking a Senior Employee Relations Advisor to provide expert ER leadership across our large regional health service in Victoria and NSW.

You will handle complex workplace matters, advise leaders, lead investigations and support enterprise bargaining while fostering a respectful, compliant and high-performing culture.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience navigating complex employee relations matters.
• Strong knowledge of employment legislation, enterprise agreements and awards.
• Proven ability to lead workplace investigations and formal review processes.
• Ability to influence leaders and negotiate outcomes.
• Demonstrated stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Experience coaching leaders and building ER capability.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert advice on employee and industrial relations matters.
• Lead complex workplace investigations, grievances, misconduct and disciplinary processes.
• Manage industrial disputes and support consultation with unions and employee representatives.
• Support organisational change, restructures, workforce reform and consultation processes.
• Coach leaders to improve workplace relations capability and decision-making.
• Develop and review employee relations policies, procedures and governance frameworks.
• Prepare executive briefs, reports and workforce risk assessments.
• Support enterprise bargaining and industrial relations initiatives as required.
