Job summary

Aeris Resources Limited is seeking a Senior Emergency Management Advisor for Cracow Gold Operations in Queensland. This permanent, full-time role focuses on implementing and maintaining emergency management planning, preparedness and response at the site, reporting to the Sustainability Manager.

You will collaborate with site leadership, ensure compliance with mining legislation, deliver training, and contribute to ongoing safety improvements across the operation.

Qualifications

• 4 years demonstrated experience as a member of an industrial emergency response team.
• 2 years leading emergency planning, preparedness and response in a process plant and hard rock mine environment.
• 2 years delivering training in emergency response or related capacity.
• Current manual drivers licence.

We’ve got the rocks covered but we’re looking for one more incredible person to join the team based at Cracow Gold Operations as our Senior Emergency Management Advisor.

The Nitty Gritty

Reporting to the Sustainability Manager you will be working closely with Site Leadership to implement site emergency management system planning, preparedness and response.

What You Bring

• In-depth working knowledge of Queensland Mining Legislation and its application within a Safety and Health Management System (SHMS).
• 4 years demonstrated experience as a member of an industrial emergency response team
• 2 years demonstrated practical experience in leading emergency planning, preparedness and response in a process plant and hard rock (preferably underground) mine environment
• 2 years demonstrated experience delivering training in emergency response or related capacity
• Certificate III Mine Rescue or Certificate IV Public Safety (Fire)
• Certificate IV in Health Care
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
• Certificate IV in OHS
• BSBWHS419 Contribute to implementing WHS monitoring processes
• HLTPAT005 Collect specimens for drugs of abuse testing
• Mining Supervisory qualification G1,8,9 or S 1,2,3
• Current manual Drivers Licence
