Job summary

Amazon Kuiper Manufacturing Enterprises LLC is seeking a Senior Embedded Software Engineer to define and implement the Leo satellite software stack and to develop embedded modules and test frameworks for 3GPP 5G NTN and Open RAN-based networking for satellite payloads. You will collaborate with software, test, RF hardware, and silicon teams to optimize low-latency, high-reliability connectivity and participate in all SDLC phases.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of non-internship software development experience.
• Experience in wireless system design and architecture, RF system analysis.
• 5+ years of embedded firmware development experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop embedded software for satellites and ground systems.
• Participate in all SDLC phases from requirements to verification.
• Develop modules in C, C++, Rust targeting 3GPP 5G/ Open RAN protocols.
• Review hardware schematics and troubleshooting methods.
