Job summary

Amazon Inc. is seeking an experienced embedded firmware engineer to design, develop, and test Leo-MAC firmware for ground networks and satellites.

You will work in a cross-functional team to deliver high-performance, real-time embedded software for Leo MAC-SW components and drivers. The role requires leading design efforts, mentoring others, and applying best practices in a fast-paced aerospace/wireless project environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.

Responsibilities

• Define multi-dimensional performance requirements with cross-functional teams.
• Make performance and optimization trade-offs to meet end-to-end use case requirement.
• Build component use-cases/test-cases and debug your code in Leo embedded environment.
• Profile and execute the code on RTOS and/or bare-metal embedded environment.
• Contribute in defining services and functionalities delivered by your FW-subsystems.
• Define, document, test and debug your FW-HW interfaces.
• Familiarity with SW/FW best practices (e.g., clean architecture, refactoring, …)
