Job summary

UGL is seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor for the M6 Stage 1 project in Sydney. You will plan, lead and control site plant and machinery maintenance to achieve safety, cost, time, quality, and environmental targets while supporting a large infrastructure delivery.

Responsibilities include inspections of drawings, look-ahead planning, mentoring apprentices, managing safety issues, and ensuring materials meet required quality on a major civil tunnelling project.

Qualifications

• Electrical licence holder.
• Extensive experience in underground civil tunnelling or mining construction electrical networks and systems (High/Low Voltage).
• Ability to develop supervisory skills and mentor in a large infrastruture environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organise, lead and control site plant & machinery maintenance to meet safety, cost, time, quality and environmental targets.
• Conduct daily prestart and weekly toolbox meetings with direct work team.
• Ensure accurate shift handovers and supervise apprentices/trainees.
• Mentor and supervise workers, coach performance and address IR/ER issues with timely escalation.
• Ensure materials and equipment meet quality requirements and any electrical changes are assessed.
