ACCIONA is seeking a dedicated Project Engineer – Electrical to join the Central-West Orana REZ transmission project in NSW. The role is based on-site with a roster and involves designing, coordinating, and overseeing electrical works for 500kV/330kV lines and substations, collaborating with the ACCIONA COBRA JV and Endeavour Energy.

You will manage stakeholder relationships, monitor progress, assist procurement, and ensure safety and quality procedures are followed to meet budget and schedule

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering required.
• 3–7 years’ experience in a Tier 1 contractor environment preferred.
• Experience with outdoor air-insulated substations and 220kV+ substations preferred.
• Strong problem solving and analytical abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Commitment to safety in the workplace.

Responsabilités

• Build relationships with project personnel and external stakeholders.
• Attend pre-start meetings and toolbox talks.
• Monitor site progression and ensure timely reporting and risk controls.
• Coordinate equipment, materials, and subcontractor claims with the program.
